At just 19 years old, Sonya Pushik is a study in charming contrasts. Originally from Moldova, this soft-spoken English language teacher has found a new home among the breathtaking lakes and peaks of Lugano, Switzerland.

Recently, Sonya stepped out of the classroom and in front of the camera for her very first photoshoot. Although she admits to being a little shy when the shutter first clicked, she found her confidence with the help of her cuddly prop, a teddy bear named Gosha.
